Just activated my SIM and I can’t get any signal no bars showing at all

I just activated my SIM and the process seemed to go through, but my phone is still showing no bars no signal at all. I’ve restarted my phone and tried toggling airplane mode but still nothing. Is this normal? How long does it take to start working?

Hey @xefimi If you’ve just activated your SIM and notice that your phone has no signal (no bars), don’t worry here’s a quick guide to help you troubleshoot and get connected.

Step 1: Check Activation Status

  • Log in to your Infimobile Account
    Confirm that your SIM activation is complete. Activation may take a few minutes after submitting the request.
  • Look for Confirmation Email
    Ensure you’ve received the “SIM Activated” confirmation from Infimobile.

Step 2: Restart Your Phone

  • Power OFF your phone completely
  • Wait 30 seconds
  • Turn it back ON
    This allows the phone to refresh its connection to the network.

Step 3: Check SIM Card Placement

  • Remove the SIM and reinsert it securely into the SIM tray.
  • Ensure it’s placed correctly and the tray is fully inserted.

Step 4: Enable VoLTE and Correct Network Mode

For iPhone:

  1. Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options
  2. Turn Data Roaming OFF
  3. Set Voice & Data to LTE
  4. Toggle VoLTE ON

For Android:

  1. Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile Network
  2. Turn Data Roaming OFF
  3. Enable VoLTE / HD Voice / Enhanced Calling
  4. Set Network Mode to LTE Only or Auto (LTE/3G/2G)

Step 5: Try Airplane Mode Reset

  • Turn on Airplane Mode for 10 seconds
  • Turn it off again — this forces a network refresh.

Still No Signal?

If none of the above steps work, it may be due to one of the following:

  • Activation is still processing
  • SIM is defective
  • You’re in a low/no coverage area

When I activated mine, it started working almost right away but if you’re still showing no bars after a restart, it’s not normal for it to take hours.
I contacted Infimobile support, and they had me:

  1. Confirm the SIM was active in my account

  2. Check APN and network settings

  3. Test the SIM in another phone (to rule out device issues)

In my case, it turned out the SIM hadn’t fully provisioned on the network. Support re-pushed the activation, and I had service within minutes.
