Voicemail isn’t working on my phone. Do I need to set it up manually?

I’m not getting any voicemails when people call, and it doesn’t even go to voicemail when I don’t answer. Do I have to set it up manually, or is it supposed to work out of the box?

Mine didn’t work right away either when I first joined Infimobile, calls just rang forever instead of going to voicemail.
I contacted support and found out voicemail should be active by default, but sometimes it needs to be manually set up or re-provisioned.

They walked me through:

  1. Dialing my own number to access the voicemail setup

  2. Recording a greeting and setting a PIN

  3. Having them refresh voicemail on the network side

After that, it worked perfectly. So yes it should work out of the box, but if it doesn’t, support can fix it fast.
