I didn’t get a chance to scan my eSIM QR code in time, and now it looks like it expired. What’s the process to get a new one? Do I need to go through activation again?
Hey @casala If you received an “Expired QR Code” error during eSIM activation, don’t worry — here’s what happened and how to fix it.
Why It Happens:
Infimobile eSIM QR codes are valid for only 8 hours from the time they are issued.
If you attempt to scan the QR code after the 8-hour window, it will show as expired and cannot be used for activation.
What You Need to Do:
Step 1: Contact Customer Support

Step 2: Request a New QR Code
- Inform the support team that your QR code has expired and you need a replacement.
Step 3: Pay the Replacement Fee
- A $5 replacement fee applies for a new eSIM QR code.
- Once the payment is completed, a new QR code will be generated.
Step 4: Receive the New QR Code
- The fresh QR code will be sent to your registered email address.
Step 5: Complete Activation
- Scan the new QR code within 8 hours to successfully activate your eSIM.
