Can I use the same QR code again if I reset my phone?

I had to reset my phone to factory settings and now my eSIM is gone.
I still have the original QR code email can I just scan it again, or do I need a new one?

Hey @yisej No, in most cases, you cannot reuse the same eSIM QR code after resetting your phone.

:cross_mark: Why You Can’t Reuse the eSIM QR Code

Once you scan and activate an eSIM QR code, it becomes linked to a single activation session and cannot be reused. If you reset your phone or erase all content, the eSIM profile stored on the device will be removed as well.

What to Do After a Reset

To continue using your Infimobile number:

  1. Request a New eSIM QR Code
    You’ll need a fresh QR code to re-download and install your eSIM profile.
  2. Provide Verification Info
    Our support team may ask for details such as:
  • Mobile Number (MDN)
  • IMEI of your device
  • Email & Phone Number on file
  • Answer to a security question (if applicable)
  1. Scan the New QR Code
    Once you receive the new code via email, scan it through your phone’s SIM/eSIM settings to complete activation.

I ran into the same thing after resetting my phone — the eSIM disappeared.
I tried scanning the original QR code again, but it didn’t work. Turns out, those QR codes are one-time use only.
